Position Details:
Pay: $20–$26+/hour (depending on experience)
Schedule: 40 hours per week, with flexibility — must work at least four days a week until 5 PM and maintain a consistent schedule
Start Date: ASAP (Start within a week!)
Employment Type: Full-time, temp-to-hire
We are currently seeking Accounting Specialists for several openings with well-established businesses. These roles are critical in managing corporate, individual, and customer accounts, ensuring smooth financial operations and maintaining positive client relationships. Positions open include Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, Senior Accounting, & Bookkeeping. If you have strong experience, are proficient with Microsoft Office, and thrive in a detail-oriented environment, we want to hear from you!
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage and follow up on accounts receivable for various account types (personal, corporate, customer accounts)
- Perform collections activities, including customer outreach for outstanding balances
- Balance accounts and monitor purchase limits
- Process and verify sales tax exemptions for compliance
- Maintain accuracy and professionalism in independent work
Qualifications:
- Strong Accounts Receivable experience, including managing corporate accounts
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel and Word required)
- Understanding of sales tax exemptions and qualifications
- High attention to detail and organizational skills
- Self-motivated with the ability to work independently and prioritize tasks
- Professional and proactive attitude with a willingness to learn
- Typing speed of at least 40 WPM
- Ability to lift up to 30 pounds and navigate stairs with equipment
- Must successfully pass pre-employment background checks
