The Accounts Receivable Specialist job in Lewiston, Maine is responsible for overseeing all accounts receivable operations, ensuring efficiency, compliance, and effective training for departmental staff. You’ll have a solid understanding of accounting principles and accounts receivable processes. This is a full-time, long term position.

Accounts Receivable Specialist Qualifications:
  • Associate’s Degree in Accounting/Business Administration preferred; 2-5 years of relevant experience may substitute.
  • Experience with accounts payable software preferred, Microsoft Excel and Word required
  • Ability to type 40 WPM
  • Ability to lift/carry up to 30 pounds frequently; must be able to navigate stairs while carrying equipment
  • Attitude: Self-motivated and adaptable to changing regulations
  • Ability to work in an office environment
  • Must pass pre-employment debarment background checks


Accounts Receivable Specialist Details:
  • Schedule: 40 hours per week, generally 8:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m., Monday through Friday (occasional night/overnight meetings)
  • Pay Rate: $21 per hour
  • Start Date: ASAP
