Job Title: CNC Machinist – Night Shift – Urgently Hiring!

Pay: $20-$22 per hour
Hours: 2:30 PM – 11:00 PM
Start Date: ASAP

We are seeking a CNC Machinist for a position with our client, a manufacturing company located in Brunswick, Maine. The CNC Operator will be responsible for operating and maintaining CNC machines, ensuring precision cutting, and meeting company quality standards. Success in this role means producing high-quality work efficiently, maintaining machine functionality, and ensuring all cuts meet specifications. This is a second shift position located in Brunswick.
As a CNC Machinist, you will:

  • Perform machine maintenance to ensure optimal functionality.

  • Use computer programs to load and execute cutting files on CNC machines.

  • Monitor and verify cut quality to meet company standards.

  • Operate the CNC machine efficiently while maintaining a timely workflow.

  • Troubleshoot minor machine issues and perform basic repairs as needed.

  • Follow all safety protocols and maintain a clean work environment.
The ideal candidate for this role will have:

  • High school diploma or equivalent.

  • Previous experience operating a tabletop CNC machine (preferred).

  • General machining knowledge and experience.

  • Strong computer skills for programming and operating CNC machines.

  • Ability to learn quickly and adapt to new processes.

  • Physical ability to stand or sit for an 8-hour shift and lift 50+ lbs.
