Job Title: Cleaner/Laborer– Urgently Hiring
Pay: $16 - $17/hr  
Hours: Monday to Friday, 7:00 A.M to 4:00 P.M
Start Date: ASAP

We are seeking a Cleaner for a full-time position for our client, a well-established, family-owned cleaning and mitigation company located in Hampden, ME. The Cleaner will be responsible for residential and commercial cleaning projects, including mitigation tasks and basic restoration. The Cleaner will work closely with a team lead each day, and success in this role means showing up reliably, working hard, and maintaining a strong attention to detail on every job. This is a long-term opportunity located in Hampden, Maine, with room for growth and consistent work.


As a Cleaner, you will be responsible for:

  • Performing residential and commercial cleaning and mitigation services

  • Completing detailed paperwork and documenting tasks

  • Loading and unloading supplies and equipment for job sites

  • Maintaining a clean and organized company vehicle

  • Following compliance standards and all company policies

  • Participating in an on-call rotation (every 6 weeks, paid $40/day)

  • Occasionally traveling to jobs 4–5 hours away (overnight stays possible with advance notice)

  • Completing cleaning projects under time constraints while maintaining high quality

  • Using QuickBooks Time app to punch in and out accurately

  • Safely using ladders, step stools, and working in elevated or confined spaces


The ideal candidate for this role will have:

  • A high school diploma or GED

  • At least 1 year of experience in cleaning or mitigation

  • Excellent cleaning skills and attention to detail

  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team

  • Strong communication and time management skills

  • A valid driver’s license with a clean driving record

  • Comfort with physically demanding tasks, including lifting up to 50 lbs

  • Willingness to work occasional nights, weekends, and travel when needed

  • Mitigation experience (preferred)
