Job Title: Food Service Worker – Urgently Hiring!
Pay: $17.34–$18.00 per hour, depending on experience
Hours:Â Tues-Sat 1030am-7pm or Sun-Thurs 1030am-7pm
We are seeking a Food Service Worker for a temp-to-hire position for our client, a respected healthcare facility located in Rockport, ME. The Food Service Worker will support kitchen operations through food prep, patient meal delivery, and dishwashing tasks. The Food Service Worker ensures patients receive timely meals and that the kitchen remains clean and efficient. This is a critical support position located in Rockport, ME, offering full-time hours and long-term opportunity.
As a Food Service Worker, you will be responsible for:

Prepare and tray food for meal service

Deliver meals to patient rooms and retrieve trays afterward

Wash dishes, utensils, and kitchen equipment

Sweep and mop floors to maintain a clean and sanitary environment

Restock food, supplies, and kitchen inventory

Perform light food prep tasks as needed

Follow food safety, sanitation, and hygiene protocols
The ideal candidate for this role will have:

A high school diploma or GED

Entry-level experience (willing to train)

Previous kitchen or food service experience is a plus

Ability to work in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment

Strong attention to detail and a focus on cleanliness

Good communication and time management skills

Physical ability to stand for long periods, lift up to 30 lbs, and perform repetitive tasks
