Job Title: Front Office Coordinator – Urgently Hiring!
Pay: $20–$24/hour, depending on experience
Hours: Tuesday–Friday, 7:45 AM to 4:15/4:30 PM (must be able to stay until 4:30 PM)
Start Date: ASAP (Estimated Start Date: June 17th)

We are seeking a Front Office Coordinator for a temp or temp-to-hire position for our client, a small and friendly medical office led by two doctors located in Yarmouth, Maine. The Front Office Coordinator will serve as the welcoming face of the practice, handling both patient-facing responsibilities and essential administrative support to keep the office running smoothly. The Front Office Coordinator will thrive in a role where professionalism, warmth, and attention to detail create a positive patient experience. This is a Tuesday–Friday, in-office role in Yarmouth, Maine.

As a Front Office Coordinator, you will be responsible for:
  • Greeting and checking in patients in a friendly and professional manner
  • Answering and managing incoming phone calls and voicemails
  • Scheduling appointments and making reminder calls
  • Creating invoices for services rendered and collecting co-pays and patient balances
  • Using scheduling and billing software and insurance portals
  • Maintaining accurate patient charts and office files
  • Supporting the audiologists with clerical tasks such as faxing, copying, and filing
  • Handling incoming and outgoing mail, packages, and deliveries
  • Maintaining office appearance, including bulletins and brochures
  • Ensuring a welcoming, organized, and confidential environment for all patients

The ideal candidate for this role will have:
  • A high school diploma or equivalent
  • Experience in a front office, medical office, or patient service role (preferred but not required)
  • Comfort using computers and scheduling/billing software
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • A friendly, positive attitude and professional demeanor
  • Strong organizational and time management abilities
  • The ability to maintain confidentiality and patient trust
  • Willingness to be trained and flexibility to adapt to the office’s workflow
