Job Title: Resort Facilities Technician – Urgently Hiring
Pay: $23–$25/hr
Hours: Full-Time, flexible to guest and resort needs
Start Date: ASAP
Position Type: Year-Round, Full-Time

We’re seeking a skilled Resort Facilities Technician for a long-term opportunity with our client, a large, scenic coastal resort with cabins in Boothbay Harbor, Maine. This hands-on, jack-of-all-trades role is opening due to the retirement of a long-term employee. As a Resort Facilities Technician, you’ll play a key part in maintaining and improving the property, supporting guests during the busy summer season, and completing larger improvement projects during the off-season.
Responsibilities:

  • Perform general property maintenance (light plumbing, carpentry, painting, and basic HVAC tasks)

  • Maintain resort grounds (mowing, trimming, shoveling, and snow removal)

  • Handle routine repairs (changing light bulbs, minor fixes, etc.)

  • Operate equipment such as mowers, weed whackers, golf carts, and onsite trucks

  • Provide prompt, guest-focused maintenance support during peak seasons

  • Complete property upgrades and projects in the off-season

  • Ensure all areas remain clean, safe, and guest-ready year-round
Qualifications:

  • Previous experience in maintenance, facilities, or property management preferred

  • Strong problem-solving skills with a guest service mindset

  • Ability to work independently and as part of a small team

  • Valid driver’s license required

  • Self-motivated, dependable, and seeking long-term employment and growth
