Job Title: Janitor – Urgently Hiring!

Pay: $18/hr
Hours: Monday - Thursday 1:00 PM to 9:00 PM, Friday 3:00 PM to 7:00 PM
Start Date: ASAP

We are seeking a Janitor for a full-time position for our client, a growing company in the property maintenance industry located in Augusta, Maine. The Janitor will be responsible for detailed cleaning of professional office spaces to maintain a sanitary and professional environment. The Janitor will ensure all assigned areas are cleaned efficiently and meet quality standards. This is a second-shift position located in Augusta, Maine.
As a Janitor, you will be responsible for:
  • Clean and sanitize office spaces, including floors, restrooms, and common areas.
  • Empty trash and recycling bins and replace liners.
  • Dust, vacuum, and mop floors to maintain cleanliness.
  • Restock supplies such as paper products and hand soap in restrooms and common areas.
  • Perform routine inspections to ensure all areas meet cleanliness standards.
  • Report maintenance issues or supply shortages to management.
  • Follow safety procedures and use cleaning products properly.
The ideal candidate for this role will have:
  • Education Level: High School Diploma or equivalent.
  • Experience: 1+ years of janitorial or related experience.
  • Personal Characteristics: Dependable, self-motivated, and hardworking.
  • Physical Abilities:
    • Ability to repeatedly lift up to 50 lbs.
    • Ability to bend, lift, twist, and stand for the full duration of the shift.
  • Other Requirements: Must have reliable transportation.
