Job Description


Job Title: Machine Operator Auburn, ME 
Pay: $17-18/hr
Hours: 8 hour shifts from 7a -  3:30p. Monday - Friday 
Start Date: Immediate openings!

 

We are looking for a skilled Machine Operator in our Auburn area facility.  The Machine operator would be able to set up, maintain, and operate machinery. You’ll ensure quality and efficient running of production. A great machine operator is reliable and able to work with attention to detail and safety standards. The goal will be to ensure that production procedures will be carried on smoothly to maximize efficiency.


As a Machine Operator, you will be responsible for:
  • Performing proper techniques to safely operate automated equipment.
  • Reading work orders to determine material requirements.
  • Performing quality control checks of material to ensure conformance to specifications and appearance requirements

The ideal candidate for this role will have: 
  • Proven experience as a machine operator
  • Understanding of production procedures
  • Adherence to health and safety regulations (e.g. constant use of protective gear)
  • Ability to read work orders
  • Attention to detail
  • Teamwork and communication skills
  • Physical stamina and strength
  • Must have excellent attendance and punctuality
