Job Title: Maintenance Technician (Urgently Hiring)
Pay: $18 to $20 per hour, depending on experience
Hours: May through October: 6 days per week, 8:30 AM to 3:00 PM
November through April: Monday through Friday, 8:30 AM to 3:00 PM
Start Date: ASAP

We are seeking a Maintenance Technician for a year-round, temp-to-hire position with our client, a family-owned beachside resort with 64 units located in Old Orchard Beach, Maine. The Maintenance Technician will be responsible for general property maintenance, helping ensure a safe and comfortable environment for guests. This position is vital in keeping the resort running smoothly and providing an excellent guest experience.

As a Maintenance Technician, you will be responsible for:

  • Performing general maintenance and repairs on plumbing, electrical, and HVAC systems

  • Conducting preventative maintenance and routine inspections

  • Responding to and resolving guest room maintenance requests in a timely manner

  • Maintaining the outdoor property and grounds to ensure cleanliness and appeal

  • Servicing and repairing equipment used throughout the property

  • Ensuring compliance with safety and regulatory standards

  • Managing inventory and restocking maintenance supplies as needed

  • Participating in a weekly on-call rotation (2 nights per week), with a $100 weekly stipend plus pay for time worked

  • Completing other duties as assigned

The ideal candidate for this role will have:

  • Previous experience in property maintenance or a related field

  • Basic knowledge of plumbing, electrical, and HVAC systems

  • Strong troubleshooting and diagnostic skills

  • A proactive and detail-oriented mindset

  • Good communication skills and the ability to work independently

  • Physical ability to perform hands-on maintenance tasks
