Job Title: Calibration Technician – Urgently Hiring
Pay: $25–$28/hour
Hours: Full-time, Monday – Friday, 7:00 AM – 3:30 PM
Start Date: ASAP
We are seeking a Calibration Technician for a full-time, quick hire position for our client, a reputable and growing manufacturing company located in Biddeford, ME. The Calibration Technician will perform both in-house calibrations and coordinate external calibration services across two facilities. The Calibration Technician ensures tools and equipment meet rigorous industry and customer standards. This is a first-shift position with bonus potential located in Biddeford, Maine.
Applicants must be 18 years of age or older and must be a U.S. citizen.
As a Calibration Technician, you will be responsible for:

Perform accurate and reliable calibration of measuring tools, gauges, and equipment

Troubleshoot calibration issues as needed

Ensure compliance with ISO 17025, ISO 10012, and any customer-specific calibration requirements

Plan, coordinate, and schedule internal and external calibration activities

Maintain detailed calibration records in line with industry and company standards
-
Develop, review, and implement calibration protocols and procedures
-
Utilize calibration software to document activities and generate reports
-
Monitor equipment performance and coordinate repairs or replacements
-
Collaborate with Engineering, Supply Chain, Quality, and Facilities to define calibration needs

Manage inventory of tools and replacement parts

Perform other tasks as assigned
The ideal candidate for this role will have:
-
A high school diploma or GED (required)
-
At least 2 years of calibration experience with varied tools/equipment
-
The ability to read and interpret technical blueprints
-
Strong analytical skills and attention to detail
-
Experience analyzing and interpreting test/calibration data
-
Clear written and verbal communication skills for cross-department collaboration
-
The ability to follow documented procedures and industry manuals precisely
Preferred qualifications include:

Associate degree or technical training in a scientific or mechanical field
-
Calibration Technician Certification (CCT) or equivalent
-
Familiarity with AS9100, ISO 17025, and ISO 9001 standards

General mechanical or electrical knowledge
