Job Title: Lamination Technician – Urgently Hiring
Pay: $20 per hour
Hours: Monday – Thursday, 6:00 AM – 4:30 PM
Start Date: ASAP

We are seeking a Lamination Technician for a full-time, temp-to-hire position for our client, a reputable and growing manufacturing company located in Southern Maine. The Lamination Technician will assist in the production of fiberglass sub-assemblies using custom molds and hand laminating techniques. The Lamination Technician plays a critical role in producing high-quality fiberglass components and ensuring the final product meets performance and safety standards. This is a hands-on manufacturing position located in Raymond, Maine.

As a Lamination Technician, you will be responsible for:
  • Laminate fiberglass sub-assemblies using molds, infusion technology, and hand lamination techniques
  • Use pressurized pneumatic spray guns and related equipment
  • Grind and cut fiberglass materials
  • Prepare resins, putties, gelcoats, and catalysts according to correct mix ratios
  • Smooth and buff fiberglass surfaces during the final production phase
  • Follow detailed processes and instructions to ensure consistent, high-quality results
  • Work independently while maintaining productivity and safety standards

The ideal candidate for this role will have:
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Experience using hand and power tools
  • Ability to read a tape measure accurately
  • Previous work experience showing strong job longevity
  • Detail-oriented mindset and ability to follow precise instructions
  • Prior experience with fiberglass or gelcoating preferred
  • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand in one position for extended periods
  • Comfort working with buffers above head level
