Job Description


Job Title: Quality Technician – Urgently Hiring
Pay: $22-$25/HR Depending on experience 
Hours: Monday - Thursday 6:00am - 2:30pm and a half day Friday!
Start Date: ASAP

We are seeking a Quality Technician for a full-time position with our client, a well-established manufacturing company located in Rochester, NH. The Quality Technician will support daily quality assurance activities and help ensure that all customer and company quality standards are met throughout the manufacturing process—from raw materials to finished goods. The Quality Technician will play a key role in maintaining compliance, documentation, and inspection standards. This is a temp-to-hire opportunity with long-term potential based in Rochester, NH.


As a Quality Technician, you will be responsible for:

  • Reviewing and approving testing reports from third-party laboratories

  • Maintaining up-to-date knowledge of ASME regulations and applicable industry codes

  • Receiving and inspecting returned products to determine quality and return category

  • Evaluating inbound goods, preparing documentation, and managing return transactions

  • Using metrology hand tools and small test fixtures to perform mechanical inspections

  • Collaborating with the MRB team to determine the disposition of nonconforming materials

  • Supporting company quality standards and 6S organization practices

  • Working independently and under minimal supervision

  • Performing other duties as requested by the Quality Manager


The ideal candidate for this role will have:

  • High school diploma or equivalent (technical education preferred)

  • At least 5 years of experience in a similar quality technician or inspection role

  • Strong math and mechanical skills

  • Ability to read and interpret blueprints

  • Familiarity with ASME Section II and IV (preferred)

  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office and general computer use

  • Experience with ERP systems such as M2K (inventory moves, RGA processing, etc.)

  • Excellent communication, organization, and time management skills

  • Ability to lift up to 35 pounds and work in a fast-paced environment
