Job Description


Job Title: Racker & Unracker
Pay: $20/Hr,
Hours: Monday - Friday, 5:00 AM - 1:30 PM
Start Date: ASAP

We are seeking a Racker & Unracker for a full-time position for our client, a local, family-owned plating business located in Westbrook, ME. Our client believes their employees are their greatest strength, with many employees having been with them for over 20 years! The Racker & Unracker will be responsible for assembling, inspecting, and packing products to ensure high-quality standards. The Racker & Unracker will succeed in this role by demonstrating attention to detail, teamwork, and a strong work ethic. This is a hands-on assembly role located in Westbrook, ME.

As a Racker & Unracker, you will be responsible for:

  • Placing parts on racks, wiring parts, and positioning them on hooks or in barrels.

  • Inspecting and testing products to ensure they meet quality standards.

  • Packing and unpacking products with care to prevent damage.

  • Loading and unloading parts efficiently.

  • Maintaining a clean and organized work environment.

  • Reporting any machine malfunctions or production issues.


The ideal candidate for this role will have:

  • High school diploma or equivalent.

  • At least 1 year of experience in a similar role.

  • Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.

  • Basic reading, writing, and math skills.

  • A team-oriented attitude and willingness to collaborate.

  • Ability to repeatedly lift up to 50 pounds.

  • Physical dexterity to handle small and delicate product parts.
