Job Description

Job Title: Tenant Liaison – Urgently Hiring
Pay: $20/hour
Hours: 20-24 hours a week: flexible hours (weekdays or weekends)
Start Date: ASAP

We are seeking a Tenant Liaison for a direct-hire position with a reputable property management team located in Oxford, Maine. The Tenant Liaison will act as a consistent, approachable presence at residential properties and serve as the key link between tenants and property management. The Tenant Liaison builds trusted relationships, helps maintain a respectful living environment, and ensures rules are followed with professionalism and empathy. This part time role is community-facing with mileage reimbursement located in Oxford, ME.

As a Tenant Liaison, you will be responsible for:
  • Walk multiple residential properties regularly to engage with tenants
  • Build rapport with residents while promoting a safe and respectful community
  • Serve as a primary point of contact between tenants and property managers
  • Clearly explain and enforce building rules, 
  • Follow up with tenants regarding complaints or concerns to ensure appropriate resolution
  • Maintain accurate documentation of interactions and any follow-up steps
  • Uphold confidentiality and professionalism in all tenant and staff interactions
  • Represent the company positively while acting as a reliable presence on-site

The ideal candidate for this role will have:
  • A high school diploma or equivalent (college coursework or training a plus)
  • Background in security, law enforcement, property management, or similar field
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills
  • Ability to calmly enforce policies while maintaining positive relationships
  • Reliable transportation and a valid driver’s license (DMV check required)
  • Ability to pass a State of Maine background check
  • Willingness to sign and follow company policies (No Smoking, Sexual Harassment, Do Not Enter Residences)
  • Commitment to confidentiality, accountability, and long-term employment
  • Physical ability to walk properties regularly in varying weather conditions
