Packer - Urgently Hiring
Pay Rate: $18/HR
Schedule: Monday-Friday 8:00am - 5:00pm
Start Date: ASAP
  We are seeking a Packer for a full-time position for our client, a manufacturing company located in Portsmouth, New Hampshire. The Packer will be responsible for packing tubing products at the end of the production line in a neat, precise, and consistent manner to meet customer requirements. The Packer will conduct visual inspections of tubing attributes, ensure post-production pack integrity, verify labeling for proper lot traceability, and perform final checks before products leave the packaging room. A successful candidate will demonstrate attention to detail, consistency in packaging, and a commitment to maintaining quality standards. This is a full-time position located in Portsmouth, New Hampshire.
As a Packer you will be responsible for:
  • Pack tubing products at the end of the production line in a neat, precise, and consistent manner to meet customer requirements in a clean room environment.
  • Conduct visual inspections of tubing attributes and ensure post-production pack integrity.
  • Verify labeling for proper lot traceability and perform final checks before products leave the packaging room.
  • Coordinate packing materials specified for individual lots, including poly wrap, poly bags, cartons, and spacers.
  • Maintain awareness of laser parameters as process control alarms.
  • Prepare packing materials, maintain the packing area, and ensure cleanliness.
  • Perform other duties as assigned by supervisors or management.

The Ideal Candidate for this role will have:
  • Positive attitude, highly organized, and detail-oriented.
  • High School Diploma or equivalent
  • Detail-oriented with a focus on producing high-quality output in a timely and efficient manner
  • Excellent problem solving skills
  • Effective communication and teamwork skills to collaborate with other team members and supervisors 
  • Ability to lift 50 lbs from floor to waist as needed throughout the day
  • Ability to stand for 8 - 10 hour shifts
  • Ability to stay until the work is complete
  • Have reliable and flexible transportation
