Job Description


Job Title: Planner I 
Pay: $22/Hr. to 24/Hr. 
Hours: 1st shift - 7:00 AM to 3:00 PM 
Start Date: ASAP

We are seeking a Planner I for a Temp to Hire position for our client located in Westbrook, ME. The Planner I will help maintain a consistent and accurate flow of information and/or materials within the shop floor as well as the IT Enterprise Environment. The Planner I ensures the integrity of ERP software, supports the planning manager with CMMC compliance, and assists with various operations projects. This is a Temp to Hire position located in Westbrook, ME.

As a Planner I, you will be responsible for:

  • Daily data entry of line costing information.

  • Daily work order entry of production jobs and associated requirements.

  • Maintaining ERP software integrity regarding parts records, identification, pricing, and racking.

  • Integration of production scheduling within ERP software.

  • Supporting the planning manager with respect to CMMC compliance.

  • Supporting Avatara activities regarding orders, projects, and resource allocation.

  • Assisting the director of operations with special projects or requests as needed.


The ideal candidate for this role will have:

  • Bachelor’s degree preferred, High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent acceptable.

  • Some experience in IT or data analysis preferred but not required.

  • Basic understanding of MS Excel software.

  • Strong attention to detail, strong analytical and problem-solving skills, excellent organizational and multitasking abilities, and strong verbal and written communication skills.

  • Ability to sit or stand for prolonged periods, occasional lifting of up to 50 pounds, and frequent use of computers and IT equipment.
