Job Title: Leather Cementer – Urgently Hiring!
Pay: $19.00/hour (Increase to $20.00/hour after 3 months)
Hours: Monday - Friday, 7:00 AM - 3:30 PM
Start Date: ASAP

We are seeking a Leather Cementer for a full-time, temp-to-hire position with our client, a well-established manufacturing company in Saco, Maine. The Leather Cementer will operate cementing and gluing machines to join items for further processing or to form a completed product. Success in this role means precision, efficiency, and strong attention to detail.
As a Leather Cementer, you will be responsible for:
  • Operating cementing and gluing machines to bond materials.
  • Adjusting machine components according to specifications.
  • Determining the appropriate amount of adhesive to use.
  • Ensuring materials are aligned and positioned correctly.
  • Following safety protocols and maintaining an organized workspace.
The ideal candidate for this role will have:
  • 1-2 years of manufacturing experience (preferred).
  • High School Diploma or GED equivalent.
  • Strong hand dexterity and attention to detail.
  • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. and sit for the duration of the shift.
  • Ability to read and write.
  • A positive and friendly attitude.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
