Job Title: Quality Technician
Pay: $22/Hr.
Hours: Monday to Friday, 7 AM to 3 PM, with some flexibility
Start Date: ASAP

We are seeking a Quality Technician for a Temp to Hire position for our client, a company specializing in manufacturing and quality compliance located in Westbrook, ME. The Quality Technician will ensure that all processes, products, and services meet company standards and regulatory requirements, including AS9100, ISO, and NADCAP. The Quality Technician will play a key role in developing, implementing, and maintaining quality management systems while collaborating with production and other departments to resolve quality issues. This is a temp-to-hire position located in Westbrook, ME.

As a Quality Technician, you will be responsible for:

  • Developing, implementing, and maintaining quality management systems in compliance with AS9100, ISO, and NADCAP standards.

  • Conducting internal audits to assess compliance and identify areas for improvement.

  • Analyzing quality data, generating reports, and driving corrective and preventive actions.

  • Overseeing document control processes, ensuring accurate and up-to-date quality records.

  • Supporting continuous improvement initiatives and facilitating root cause analysis.

  • Ensuring proper training and education on quality standards and best practices.

  • Collaborating with production and engineering teams to address quality concerns.

  • Monitoring and evaluating supplier quality performance.

  • Maintaining compliance with health, safety, and environmental regulations.

  • Performing inspections and tests in accordance with technical specifications.

  • Performing, tracking, and/or assessing equipment calibrations.

  • Willingness to learn from production-based experiences.


The ideal candidate for this role will have:

  • High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent required; Bachelor’s degree preferred.

  • Experience in quality management or a related field preferred.

  • Strong understanding of quality management systems and industry standards, proficiency in Microsoft Office and quality management software, ability to interpret blueprints, mechanical drawings, and technical documents, experience with statistical process control (SPC) and root cause analysis.

  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills, effective communication and collaboration abilities, attention to detail.

  • Safety PPE/Awareness Training, Quality Standards and Compliance Training, Internal Audit Training.

  • Ability to sit or stand for prolonged periods, occasional lifting of up to 50 pounds, frequent walking through the facility to conduct inspections and audits.
