Job Title: 1st Shift Spray Booth Operator 
Pay: $22/Hr. to $24/Hr.
Hours: Monday to Friday, 1st shift - 7:00 AM to 3:30 PM
Training:  Training on 1st shift, 7:00 AM to 3:30 PM
Start Date: ASAP

We are seeking a Spray Booth Operator for a Temp-to-Hire position for our client, a leading manufacturing company located in Biddeford, ME. The Spray Booth Operator will be responsible for performing tasks associated with the bonding process, including material loading, machine setup, surface preparation, operation, and product de-flashing. This role requires attention to detail and the ability to follow step-by-step work instructions. Success in this position means taking pride in your work, maintaining safety standards, and contributing to continuous improvement efforts. This is a Temp-to-Hire role in Biddeford.

As a Spray Booth Operator, you will be responsible for:

  • Successfully performing all tasks associated with the bonding process, including material loading, machine setup, surface preparation, and de-flashing.

  • Accurately following step-by-step work instructions throughout the bonding process, while monitoring machine operation through each cycle.

  • Inspecting all work in accordance with applicable work instructions and shop procedures.

  • Performing prescribed preventive maintenance (PM) on applicable equipment and processes.

  • Maintaining a clean and orderly work area and equipment.

  • Recording part parameters using measurement tools such as micrometers and calipers.

  • Actively participating in continuous improvement and corrective action processes.

  • Using hand tools (e.g., razor blades, scalpels, hand sanders, and air/pneumatic tools) as required.

  • Performing all tasks with extreme attention to detail.


The ideal candidate for this role will have:

  • 1 to 3 years of turning machine operation experience.

  • 1 to 3 years of experience with shop math skills, including trigonometry.

  • 1 to 3 years of proficiency in blueprint reading and GD&T

  • Consistent daily attendance and a desire to excel in your work.
