Job Title: Warehouse Associate 
Pay: $19/Hr. to $24/Hr., Depending on Experience
Hours: Monday to Thursday
Start Date: ASAP

We are seeking a Warehouse Associate for a Temp to Hire position for our client, a reputable company in the Scarborough area. The Warehouse Associate will be responsible for maintaining, moving, organizing, and storing finished products safely and efficiently. Success in this position will be measured by the ability to follow procedures for receiving shipments, distributing products, and ensuring accurate customer orders.

As a Warehouse Associate, you will be responsible for:

  • Maintaining inventory by labeling and placing materials in stock and recording locations.

  • Locating materials and supplies by pulling and verifying items on production orders.

  • Delivering and opening materials and supplies to work centers.

  • Documenting materials and supplies disposition by recording units delivered and their locations.

  • Receiving credit-return material from production and verifying codes, lot numbers, and quantities.

  • Preparing finished stock for shipment by pulling, packing, crating, loading, and securing products.

  • Documenting product shipments by recording units shipped.

  • Maintaining material-handling equipment by completing pre-use inspections and making minor repairs.

  • Supporting team initiatives and contributing to overall operational efficiency.

  • Adhering to SQF initiatives to maintain product quality and safety standards.


The ideal candidate for this role will have:

  • 2+ years of experience as a Warehouse Associate or Material Handler (preferred, but not required for entry-level candidates).

  • Forklift Certification (preferred, but will train).

  • ERP Experience

  • Experience in record-keeping, data entry, and stock management is a plus.

  • Strong organizational skills, time management, and the ability to analyze information and deal with complex tasks.

  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, physically demanding environment.

  • Capable of lifting up to 50 lbs frequently, with assistance required for 60+ lbs.

  • Comfortable standing, walking, bending, and lifting for extended periods of time.
