Warehouse Picker
Pay Rate: $19 - $23/HR DOE
Schedule: Sunday-Thursday 7:00pm -5:00am
Start Date: ASAP

We are seeking a Warehouse Picker for a direct hire position for our client, a distribution company located in Somersworth, New Hampshire. The Warehouse Picker will be responsible for efficiently picking customer orders for shipment, ensuring that the correct number and type of products are loaded onto trucks. The Warehouse Picker will operate an electric power jack and follow company standards for safety, security, accuracy, and productivity. A successful candidate will demonstrate efficiency in order picking, attention to detail, and a commitment to maintaining a safe and organized warehouse environment. This is a direct hire position located in Somersworth, New Hampshire.


Warehouse Picker Responsibilities:
  • Responsible for the completeness and correctness of all orders filled.
  • Operates any assigned equipment safely and professionally, maintains appropriate certifications for any equipment being operated.
  • Reports any mechanical defects and assures proper maintenance requirements are met for any equipment being used.
  • Assists in maintaining the security of the warehouse. Conduct operations in a manner that promotes safety and complies with OSHA standards.
  • Must be able to accommodate changing shift starting and ending time due to work load.
  • Represents the company through proper maintenance of full uniform requirements, personal appearance and professional conduct.
  • Maintains a clean, neat and orderly work area by picking up broken pallets, paper, shrink wrap.
  • Carry out customer service functions according to company policy.
  • Performs other miscellaneous duties as assigned.

     
The Ideal Candidate for this role will have: 
  • High School diploma, GED Certification, or equivalent experience in a similar role preferred.
  • Standing, walking, bending, and stretching are required 
  • Ability Ensure that loads are positioned and placed securely
  • 1 year experience operating electric power jack required
  • Cannot be afraid of heights
