Job Description


Job Title: Seasonal Warehouse Associate - 2 openings

Pay: $20/hour

Hours: 8:30-4:30, M-F, and occasional overtime Saturday from 8-noon with notice given ahead of time

Start Date: ASAP, from now thru Christmas


We are currently looking for 2 seasonal, full-time hourly distribution center employees with communication and organization skills, a strong work ethic, ability to work in a fast-paced team environment and a can-do attitude to help us through our busy season. This is a hands-on warehouse position focused on picking and packing shoe boxes for shipment to major retailers such as Amazon, Kohl’s, DSW, JC Penney, Macy’s, and more. 
  Key Responsibilities:
  • Stock shelves and organize inventory according to the warehouse floorplan
  • Pick and pack internet orders with accuracy and efficiency
  • Pack, scan, and ship bulk orders to meet on-time delivery requirements
  • Safely move and store products throughout the distribution center
  • Operate scanners, conveyor belts, and light mobile equipment
  • Use basic computer skills for scanning and processing orders
  • Learn and perform all aspects of order fulfillment—from receiving to shipping
  • Follow proper lifting techniques (up to 30 lbs.) and maintain safety standards
  • Collaborate with team members to meet daily deadlines and team goals
  • Work overtime and some Saturdays during peak season as needed
  • Perform additional tasks or duties as assigned by the Distribution Center Manager

 

Physical Requirements:  
  • Lifting 30lbs, standing on concrete floors
  • Strong communication skills including reading, writing, and using computers and hand scanners
  • Past warehouse experience a plus
  • Reliability
  • No phones or earbuds on floor
  • Closed-toed shoes
