Job Description

Job Title: Sanitation Supervisor Urgently Hiring Pay: $20 Hours: Mon.-Fri. 4pm to 12:30am Start Date: ASAP We are seeking a full-time, temp-to-hire, Sanitation Supervisor for our client located in Bath, ME. This Sanitation Supervisor will ensure a safe and efficient working environment, increase cleanliness, and employee morale by managing personnel and materials. The Sanitation Supervisor will manage all department personnel and execute the cleaning and sanitation schedule, making modifications when necessary. This full time position is located in Bath, ME.
As an Sanitation Supervisor, you will be responsible for:
  • Enforcing food safety and personnel safety policies and procedures through auditing and training.
  • Performing daily visual inspections of the work area to identify potential hazards and unsafe acts.
  • Conducting investigations for any accidents or near-misses and implementing appropriate corrective actions.
  • Optimizing cleaning and sanitation of all production lines and facility areas by managing personnel and materials.
  • Executing the cleaning and sanitation schedule and making modifications when necessary.
  • Communicating daily work assignments, goals, and plans to employees.
  • Maintaining an employee proficiency tracking chart to ensure adequate cross-training.
  • Monitoring the production schedule to execute the cleaning plan with maximum efficiency.
  • Training new and existing hourly employees on all production and sanitation equipment.
  • Ensuring proper concentrations are used during the cleaning process and that only trained staff handle detergents and sanitizers.
  • Examining sanitation reports for accuracy at the end of each shift.
  • Monitoring the organization and cleanliness of the facility.
The ideal candidate for this role will have:
  • Strong leadership and communication skills.
  • Excellent problem-solving abilities.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic, and potentially wet or cold environment.
  • Physical ability to perform routine inspections and handle equipment.
  • Previous supervisory experience
