Reconciliation Specialist — Urgently Hiring in Lewiston!

Job Title: Reconciliation Specialist
Pay: $29–$42 per hour
Hours: Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM–5:00 PM
Start Date: ASAP

Are you great with numbers, details, and problem-solving? We’re looking for an experienced Reconciliation Specialist to join a professional team in Lewiston!

This role is a great fit for someone with an accounting or financial background who enjoys digging into the details, finding discrepancies, and making sure everything balances.

What You’ll Do
  • Reconcile accounts and financial records for accuracy
  • Research and resolve discrepancies and account variances
  • Review transactions and identify items that need follow-up
  • Assist with bank reconciliations and detailed transaction research
  • Help maintain accurate financial records and documentation
  • Work with internal teams to resolve accounting and system-related issues
  • Assist with audits, reporting, and compliance-related tasks
  • Help identify opportunities to improve processes and make work more efficient
  • Handle confidential financial information with professionalism and discretion

What You’ll Bring
  • 5+ years of experience in accounting, reconciliation, or financial operations
  • Associate degree in Accounting, Finance, Business, or a related field preferred
  • Strong understanding of account reconciliations and financial records
  • Experience with accounting software such as QuickBooks
  • Intermediate to advanced Microsoft Excel skills
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Good organizational and time-management skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Strong communication skills and professional judgment
  • Dependable and comfortable handling confidential information
