Job Title: Electrical Maintenance Technician
Pay: $38/hour
Hours: 7:00 AM – 3:30 PM, Monday–Friday
Start Date: ASAP

As part of the maintenance team, you’ll help keep essential plant equipment running safely, efficiently, and reliably. You’ll work with a variety of mechanical and electrical systems, troubleshoot problems, and complete repairs that keep production on track.
What You’ll Do:
As an Electrical Maintenance Technician, you’ll be responsible for:

Completing maintenance projects with minimal supervision to reduce downtime.

Troubleshooting mechanical and electrical issues and replacing defective parts.

Adjusting and repairing machines and equipment to maintain smooth operation.
-
Operating shop tools and machinery such as lathes, drill presses, grinders, saws, cutting torches, and welders.

Using hand and pneumatic tools to modify or repair equipment.

Installing, repairing, and maintaining hydraulic and pneumatic systems.
-
Improving equipment reliability through preventative maintenance.

Operating forklifts and hydraulic work platforms as needed.

Researching and sourcing tools, parts, and materials for repairs.

Maintaining accurate maintenance logs, manuals, and records.
-
Following all safety, health, and environmental guidelines.

Performing diagnosis and programming for VFDs, HMIs, and PLCs.

Working with industrial automation systems and safety circuits.
-
Performing basic 12v/24v control circuit and single/three-phase electrical work.

Supporting other maintenance and production tasks as needed.
What You’ll Bring:
The ideal candidate will have:
-
Technical training, certifications, or experience in industrial maintenance, electronics, or instrumentation.

Strong mechanical and electrical troubleshooting skills.
-
Experience with PLCs, HMIs, VFDs, and automation systems.
-
Ability to lift up to 55 lbs frequently and move up to 250 lbs with assistance.
-
Comfort working in environments with heat, humidity, noise, or vibration.
-
Ability to climb, kneel, crawl, and work safely around machinery.
-
A strong commitment to safety and teamwork.
