Job Description


Fiber Optic Splicer – Urgently Hiring - EXPERIENCE REQUIRED
Pay: $23–$32/hr
Hours: Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM
Start Date: ASAP

We are urgently seeking a Fiber Optic Splicer for a full-time role with a fast-growing telecommunications company located near Poland, Maine. Successful candidates must have prior splicing experience as well as a great attitude and mechanical aptitude.  This is a direct-hire, full time, day shift position.


As a Fiber Optic Splicer, you will:
  • Prep and splice various fiber cables including OSP, ADSS & OPGW
  • Use OTDR, power meter testing, and fiber identifiers to verify integrity
  • Troubleshoot and resolve network issues efficiently
  • Maintain safety and quality standards
  • Submit daily performance reports and track field asset usage


You may be a great fit if you have:
  • High school diploma or GED (required)
  • 2+ years of splicing experience preferred
  • Strong work ethic and attention to detail
  • Ability to travel overnight during the week as needed
  • A valid driver’s license and clean driving record
  • Ability to pass a DOT physical, drug screen, background, and MVR check
