Human Resources Clerk — Urgently hiring in Bangor!
Job Title: HR Clerk
Pay: $20-25 per hour
Hours: 24-32 hours/week, primarily Monday-Friday with some weekend flex upon perm hire

As an HR Clerk, you'll play a vital role in supporting human resources operations while assisting in general office tasks. You'll work closely with the HR team to ensure smooth onboarding, recordkeeping, and administrative support that keeps the organization running efficiently.

What You'll Do
As an HR Clerk, you will be responsible for:
• Creating and managing job advertisements and reviewing employment applications
• Conducting initial phone screenings and scheduling in-person interviews with leadership
• Onboarding new employees and maintaining accurate personnel files
• Updating employee information in payroll systems and tracking PTO and benefits
• Scheduling and documenting employee training and safety meetings
• Coordinating workers' compensation claims, FMLA documentation, and compliance records
• Assisting with other HR administrative duties as needed

What You'll Bring
The ideal candidate for this role will have:
• Previous HR experience
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
• Ability to handle sensitive information with confidentiality
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and HR systems
