Job Title: CNC Band Saw Operator
Pay: $26
Hours: Monday – Friday, 7:00 AM – 3:30 PM
Start Date: ASAP

Looking for a hands-on role in a fast-paced manufacturing environment? Join a growing and respected company in the Biddeford, ME area as a CNC Band Saw Operator and play a key role in supporting production through precision cutting and material preparation. In this role, you’ll work with a collaborative team to ensure accuracy, efficiency, and safety in every cut.
What You’ll Do:
As a CNC Band Saw Operator, you will be responsible for:
  • Performing daily machine maintenance and safety checks
  • Setting up and operating band saws, including indexer setup as needed
  • Starting, operating, and shutting down equipment following established procedures and safety guidelines
  • Inspecting materials for correct type, thickness, and any defects prior to cutting
  • Monitoring saw operation, blades, and machine performance to identify issues or inefficiencies
  • Cutting and verifying materials
  • Operating material handling equipment
  • Supporting team goals with additional duties as needed
What You’ll Bring:
The ideal candidate will have:
  • Previous CNC operating experience
  • Ability to follow written, verbal, and diagram-based instructions
  • Experience interpreting work orders
  • Ability to read and use measuring tools such as tape measures and dial calipers
  • Basic math skills, including converting decimals and fractions
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality and safety

Location & Schedule:
This is an on-site position in the Biddeford, ME area, with a Monday–Friday schedule from 7:00 AM to 3:30 PM.
