Job Title: Parts Washer
Pay: $19/hour
Hours: Monday - Friday, 7:00 am - 3:30 pm

As a Parts Washer, you'll play a vital role in preparing metal components for the next manufacturing step by ensuring they are thoroughly cleaned and inspection-ready. You'll work closely with the production team, supporting smooth operations and contributing directly to the company's success.

What You'll Do
As a Parts Washer, you will be responsible for:
  • Operating washing equipment to remove dirt, grease, and other contaminants from metal parts, ensuring they meet quality standards.
  • Maintaining and troubleshooting pressurized washing systems for optimal performance.
  • Inspecting parts for major defects and verifying cleanliness before passing them to the next production stage.
  • Manually drying parts and preparing them for further processing.
  • Maintaining hoses, spray guns, and cleaning equipment to promote safety and efficiency.
  • Collaborating with other departments to manage component flow and meet production deadlines.
  • Following all safety protocols, including wearing safety glasses and hearing protection during your shift.
  • Supporting additional tasks as needed to help meet team goals and operational needs.

What You'll Bring
The ideal candidate will have:
  • A high school diploma or equivalent.
  • Ability to lift and safely move up to 50 pounds.
  • Physical stamina to stand for up to 80% of the shift, walk 10%, and crouch 10% as necessary.
  • Strong attention to detail and a firm commitment to safety procedures.
  • Comfort working in a cool environment (68-72 degrees) and wearing safety gear throughout your shift.
  • Reliability, a positive attitude, and a team-oriented mindset.
