Hours: Trains on 2nd Shift — Monday–Thursday, 3:00 PM–1:00 AM

In this role, you’ll operate advanced CNC laser cutting machines to produce high-quality sheet metal and plate components. You’ll work in a supportive, team-oriented environment that values safety, craftsmanship, and continuous improvement.
What You’ll Do
As a Laser Operator, you will be responsible for:

Operating CNC laser cutting machines to produce precision sheet metal and plate parts.

Loading and unloading materials and adjusting settings for optimal performance.

Interpreting job travelers, part drawings, and cut files to ensure dimensional accuracy.

Performing minor program edits to improve production efficiency and quality.
-
Organizing and staging finished parts for subsequent production steps.

Inspecting parts using calipers, micrometers, and tape measures.

Following all safety protocols and maintaining a clean, organized work area.

Reporting material defects or machine issues to supervisors promptly.

Collaborating with team members and other departments to maintain a smooth workflow.

Assisting with raw material inventory and remnant organization.

Performing routine maintenance, such as cleaning lenses and replacing nozzles.
What You’ll Bring
The ideal candidate for this role will have:

Experience: 3–5 years operating CNC laser cutting equipment.

Technical Skills: Strong understanding of CNC programming with the ability to adjust parameters.

Attention to Detail: Commitment to precision, safety, and quality.

Teamwork: Willingness to support others and take on varied production tasks.

Education: High school diploma or equivalent.

Physical Requirements: Ability to stand for long periods, lift and slide materials, and perform overhead reaching.

PPE: Steel-toe shoes required (100% reimbursement upon hire).

Nice-to-Have: Experience logging job times for accurate production tracking.
