Job Title: Heavy Assembler
Pay: $20.00 per hour (with pay increase upon permanent conversion)
Hours: Full-Time, Monday – Friday, 7:00 AM – 3:30 PM
Start Date: ASAP

Looking for a hands-on role in a growing company? Join a dynamic manufacturing team as a Heavy Assembler in Raymond, ME, and play a key role in building innovative solutions that make the world safer and more efficient.

As a Heavy Assembler, you’ll support the production of dehydrators and other essential equipment used by utility companies to maintain underground infrastructure. You’ll work with a dedicated team in a fast-paced, safety-conscious environment where your contributions will make a real impact.

What You’ll Do:

As a Heavy Assembler, you will be responsible for:
  • Aligning, fitting, assembling, and wiring component parts into completed units using hand and power tools, fixtures, and templates.
  • Testing completed units, making adjustments as needed, and ensuring quality control by rejecting out-of-spec product.
  • Performing full system assembly according to blueprints, work instructions, and on-the-job training.
  • Preparing products for final release to stock or shipping.
  • Using the current ERP system to check inventory, key shop orders, and perform daily cycle counts.
  • Maintaining a clean and organized work area.
  • Supporting other departments, including Shipping/Receiving and the Repair Department, by floating to help cover volume spikes and employee absences.


What You’ll Bring:

The ideal candidate for this role will have:
  • Education: High School diploma or equivalent; Technical or Vocational training preferred but not required.
  • Experience: Previous experience in assembly, small tool usage, and wiring is essential. Mechanical aptitude and basic computer skills are required.
  • Personal Characteristics: Strong attention to detail, quality-conscious, adaptable, and safety-minded.
  • Physical Abilities: Ability to lift up to 65 lbs and stand for extended periods. Must be able to move around the facility and perform manual tasks such as bending, reaching, and walking long distances.
