Job Title: Quality Assistant
Location: Round Pond, Maine
Pay: $19 - $22 per hour (based on experience)
Hours: Monday - Thursday, 7:00 AM - 4:30 PM; Friday, 7:00 AM - 12:00 PM

What You’ll Do:
As a Quality Assistant, you will:
  • Collaborate closely with the Quality Manager and Quality Specialist to develop and analyze statistical data, enhance product specifications, and respond to customer-specific requirements.
  • Support quality control initiatives to ensure consistent production that aligns with established quality benchmarks.
  • Assist in calibration activities across the facility, ensuring that all equipment is accurate and compliant with regulations.
  • Participate in workstation audits to uphold and enhance quality standards.
  • Provide administrative support for various documentation and projects as assigned by the Director of Quality & Engineering.
  • Maintain a professional, respectful, and friendly demeanor in all interactions with customers, suppliers, co-workers, and supervisors.
  • Adhere to safe working practices, reporting any personal injuries or unsafe conditions promptly.

What You’ll Bring:
The ideal candidate will possess:
  • A High School Diploma or GED equivalent.
  • A self-motivated mindset with a collaborative spirit to work effectively within a team environment.
  • Strong organizational skills and reliability, along with a genuine eagerness to learn and advance within the company.
  • Prior experience in quality control or manufacturing is preferred but not mandatory for this entry-level opportunity.
  • The physical capability to sit or stand for extended periods and lift or move objects weighing up to 50 lbs.
  • Proficiency in English, with effective communication skills to read, listen, and convey information clearly, both verbally and in writing.
  • Adequate hearing and visual abilities to observe and respond to emergencies.
