Pay: $19 - $22 per hour (based on experience)
Hours: Monday - Thursday, 7:00 AM - 4:30 PM; Friday, 7:00 AM - 12:00 PM

As a Quality Assistant in Round Pond, Maine, you will play a vital role in ensuring our operations run smoothly and efficiently.

As a Quality Assistant, you’ll support daily operations in our quality department, helping to drive team success and maintain our reputation for excellence. You’ll collaborate closely with the Quality Manager and Quality Specialist, actively participating in initiatives that enhance our product quality and customer satisfaction.

What You’ll Do:

As a Quality Assistant, you will be responsible for:
  • Collaborating with the Quality Manager and Quality Specialist to develop and analyze statistical data while enhancing product specifications and addressing customer-specific requirements.
  • Supporting quality control initiatives to ensure consistent production that meets established quality benchmarks.
  • Assisting in calibration activities throughout the facility, ensuring all equipment is accurate and compliant with relevant regulations.
  • Participating in workstation audits to uphold and enhance quality standards.
  • Providing administrative support for various documentation and projects as assigned by the Director of Quality & Engineering.
  • Maintaining a professional, respectful, and friendly demeanor during interactions with customers, suppliers, co-workers, and supervisors.
  • Adhering to safe working practices, promptly reporting any personal injuries or unsafe conditions.

What You’ll Bring:

The ideal candidate will possess:
  • A High School Diploma or GED equivalent.
  • A self-motivated mindset with a collaborative spirit to work effectively within a team environment.
  • Strong organizational skills and reliability, along with a genuine eagerness to learn and advance within the company.
  • Prior experience in quality control or manufacturing is preferred but not mandatory for this entry-level opportunity.
  • Physical capability to sit or stand for extended periods and lift or move objects weighing up to 50 lbs.
  • Proficiency in English, with effective communication skills to read, listen, and convey information clearly, both verbally and in writing.
  • Adequate hearing and visual abilities to observe and respond to emergencies.
