Join Our Manufacturing Team as a Mechanical Assembler - Urgently Hiring in Portsmouth!

Job Title: Mechanical Assembler
Pay: $24 per hour
Hours: 8:00am to 4:30pm (Monday through Friday)
Start Date: ASAP
Are you the person who enjoys putting mechanical things together, figuring out how parts fit, and getting satisfaction from seeing a finished product come together?

We’re looking for a Mechanical Assembler to join a small, growing startup where no two days are necessarily the same. This is not your traditional assembly-line job. Our team is small, hands-on, and collaborative, and we need someone who is comfortable jumping!
What You’ll Be Doing
As a Mechanical Assembler, you’ll work across different areas of the production process, assembling a variety of components and finished products. Your day could look different depending on what the team needs.

You may be:

  • Assembling mechanical components using hand and power tools

  • Following drawings, work instructions, and assembly procedures

  • Moving between different workstations and assembly projects

  • Learning and performing multiple types of assemblies

  • Inspecting your work to make sure everything is assembled correctly

  • Troubleshooting basic mechanical issues and figuring out what needs to be adjusted

  • Working closely with teammates to keep projects moving

  • Communicating when you have questions, spot an issue, or see an opportunity to improve a process

  • Pitching in on whatever needs to get done that day

  • Have mechanical assembly or manufacturing experience — or are naturally mechanically inclined

  • Can read and follow basic drawings, instructions, and measurements
