Join a trusted retail team as a Floral Merchandiser in Wells, Maine, and make an impact every day. This year-round, part-time position offers the opportunity to work independently in a vibrant floral department, supporting a busy retail environment with increased hours during major floral holidays. As a Floral Merchandiser, you'll play a key role in managing the floral department, ensuring fresh, eye-catching displays that delight customers. You'll work closely with store management to deliver stunning floral arrangements and maintain the quality of inventory, helping to create a welcoming shopping experience.

What You'll Do
As a Floral Merchandiser, you will be responsible for:
  • Managing the floral department independently, including receiving and processing deliveries on Mondays and Thursdays.
  • Breaking down pallets and organizing incoming floral products efficiently.
  • Merchandising floral products onto sales floor displays to attract customers.
  • Maintaining and caring for floral inventory, including watering, cleaning, and ensuring freshness.
  • Performing resets, following planograms, and maintaining visual standards to enhance store presentation.
  • Completing light paperwork and inventory tasks accurately.
  • Creating attractive, customer-friendly floral displays that inspire and delight shoppers.

What You’ll Bring
The ideal candidate for this role will have:
  • A high school diploma or equivalent.
  • A positive attitude, strong work ethic, and reliability.
  • Excellent time management and communication skills.
  • Physical ability to stand all day, bend, reach, and lift up to 40 pounds.
  • Previous merchandising or floral experience is a plus, but training will be provided for the right candidate.

Location & Schedule: This position is on-site in Wells, Maine, and offers flexible part-time hours. Shifts include Mondays and Thursdays starting at 7:00 AM, with additional maintenance shifts on Tuesdays and Fridays. Weekend visits are flexible, and holiday work is required except for major holidays like Thanksgiving, Christmas, and New Year’s Day.
