Job Title: Patient Service Representative
Location: Bangor, ME
Pay: $18.25-$18.50
Hours: 32 hours per week, Monday - Thursday

What You'll Do:
As a Patient Service Representative, you will play a vital role in ensuring seamless clinic operations. Your responsibilities will include:
  • Welcoming Patients: Greet patients and visitors with warmth as they arrive at the clinic, fostering an inviting atmosphere.
  • Check-In & Verification: Accurately check patients in for appointments by verifying their information and insurance details to facilitate a smooth process.
  • Check-Out Process: Manage efficient check-out after appointments, communicating all necessary follow-up steps to patients.
  • Manage Communications: Handle incoming phone calls, addressing inquiries and directing calls to the appropriate staff members for swift resolution.
  • Appointment Scheduling: Schedule and reschedule patient appointments using our clinic's scheduling system to maximize patient satisfaction.
  • Payment Processing: Process patient payments accurately and maintain comprehensive payment records to ensure financial integrity.

What You’ll Bring:
The ideal candidate will possess the following qualifications:
  • A high school diploma or equivalent.
  • Strong interpersonal skills with a friendly demeanor for creating positive patient interactions.
  • Excellent organizational skills and keen attention to detail.
  • Ability to thrive in a small, fast-paced office environment.
  • Physical capability to perform standard office tasks efficiently.

Location & Schedule:
This position is on-site in Bangor, ME, offering 32 hours per week, Monday to Thursday from 8:00 am to 4:30 pm (some weeks may have fewer hours). Please note that this is a temporary position lasting from mid-December through July.
