Job Title: Seafood Production Worker


Pay: $18 - $19 per hour


Hours: Monday through Friday, 7:00 AM – 3:00 PM

As a Seafood Production Worker, you'll play a vital role in supporting daily operations on the river and in the processing plant. You will work with a dedicated team to ensure the quality and efficiency of oyster harvests, packaging, and gear maintenance. Your efforts will help deliver fresh seafood to customers while supporting the sustainability of the farm.

What You'll Do


As a Seafood Production Worker, you will be responsible for:
  • Assembling and repairing oyster traps and gear to ensure durability and productivity.
  • Sorting, washing, weighing, and packing oysters for shipment, maintaining high quality standards.
  • Harvesting oysters from the river and managing inventory to keep supplies organized and accessible.
  • Monitoring and maintaining quality control standards in both the crop and processing environment.
  • Assisting with biofouling control, oyster seed handling, and general site cleanup to support safe, efficient operations.
  • Inspection and packaging of seafood products to meet safety and regulatory standards.

What You'll Bring


The ideal candidate for this role will have:
  • Experience or familiarity with packaging, warehousing, inventory management, or inspection is a plus but not required.
  • Physical strength and stamina to lift up to 50 pounds regularly.
  • Reliability and a strong work ethic with the ability to follow instructions carefully.
  • Comfort working outdoors in various weather conditions, including near water.
  • A collaborative attitude and eagerness to learn new skills within the aquaculture industry.
