Job Title: Shipping and Receiving

Pay: $21/hour

Hours: 7:30 AM – 3:45 PM (Monday through Friday)

Looking for a rewarding role in warehouse operations? Join our team as a Shipping and Receiving associate in Raymond, ME, and be a key player in our production and logistics process. This full-time, temporary position offers a chance to contribute to smooth shipping operations while gaining hands-on experience in a dynamic environment.

As a Shipping and Receiving associate, you'll ensure shipments are processed accurately and efficiently, supporting the warehouse team in maintaining seamless inventory flow. You'll work directly with the warehouse staff to verify incoming and outgoing shipments, manage documentation, and support general warehouse activities to keep things running smoothly.

What You'll Do
As a Shipping and Receiving associate, you will be responsible for
  • Verifying and keeping records of incoming and outgoing shipments
  • Comparing identifying information and counting, weighing, or measuring outgoing shipments
  • Assembling containers and labeling cartons for shipment
  • Examining outgoing shipments to verify conformance to specifications
  • Entering delivery orders into the computer system and generating shipment paperwork
  • Unpacking incoming shipments, verifying contents, recording shortages, and coordinating with purchasing on discrepancies
  • Rejecting damaged goods and recording issues
  • Operating hand trucks and, optionally, forklifts to load/unload trucks (forklift not required but a plus)
  • Performing other warehouse duties as assigned
  • Standing, bending, reaching, pinching, and lifting throughout the day in a non-climate-controlled environment
  • Demonstrating safe practices and a commitment to quality work

What You'll Bring
The ideal candidate for this role will have
  • A high school diploma or equivalent
  • Previous experience in shipping, receiving, or warehouse environments
  • Basic computer skills
  • Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 60 lbs (most items under 50 lbs)
  • A team-oriented, safety-focused mindset
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to follow through on tasks
  • Forklift operation experience (preferred but not required)
