Job Title: Warehouse Worker
Pay: $19/Hr.
Hours: Multiple schedules available

Looking for a hands-on role, a steady schedule, and a chance to work in a team-focused warehouse environment? Join a busy recycling and materials-handling operation where your work helps keep daily workflow running smoothly. As a Heavy Duty Warehouse Worker, you’ll play a vital role in supporting the processing of cardboard, recyclables, and materials flow throughout the facility. You’ll collaborate closely with warehouse leadership and your fellow team members to ensure a clean, organized, and safe working environment.

What You’ll Do:
As a Heavy Duty Warehouse Worker, you will be responsible for:
• Assisting with heavy lifting, dumping trash, and handling recyclables.
• Operating pallet jacks to efficiently move materials through the warehouse.
• Using cardboard, plastics, and clothing balers as required.
• Climbing and using temporary ladders (4'–6') as necessary.
• Maintaining a clean and organized work area to uphold safety standards.
• Following all safety protocols and PPE requirements diligently.
• Standing for the entire shift while bending, lifting, twisting, and moving throughout the facility.
• Performing other warehouse tasks as assigned to support team efforts.

The ideal candidate for this role will have:
• Strong mathematical and literacy skills.
• Ability to follow both written and verbal instructions.
• Fluent English skills are required.
• Reliability, punctuality, and a commitment to teamwork.
• Comfort in a fast-paced, physical work environment.
• A safety-conscious attitude with strong attention to detail.
• Ability to stand for full 8-hour shifts.
• Proficiency in lifting and moving heavy materials.
• Comfort with bending, twisting, and climbing ladders as needed.

Location & Schedule:
This position is on-site in Gorham, ME, 7:00 AM – 3:30 PM, Monday to Friday.
 

Dress Code: Closed-toe or open-back shoes. Clean, casual clothing recommended. Comfortable shoes are essential due to concrete floors.

PPE Provided: Safety glasses, gloves, and ear protection.
