Job Title: Distribution Associate
Pay: $22.00 per hour
Hours: Monday–Friday | 6:00 AM – 2:30 PM
Start Date: ASAP

Looking for a hands-on, physically active role with meaningful daily impact? Join a mission-driven warehouse and distribution environment as a Distribution Associate II and make an impact every day.

As a Distribution Associate, you’ll support accurate receiving, storing, picking, and shipping operations while contributing to a positive experience for both staff and volunteers. You’ll work closely with warehouse leadership and team members to ensure smooth and efficient daily operations.

What You’ll Do:

As a Distribution Associate, you will be responsible for:
  • Performing loading, unloading, storing, picking, and preparing products for shipment
  • Reviewing orders, pulling products, and ensuring accuracy in type, quantity, and condition
  • Performing & maintain inventory counts, adjustments, transfers, and disposals in an inventory system
  • Handling, rotating, and replenishing stock to established standards
  • Operating forklifts, reach trucks, pallet jacks, and other material-handling equipment safely
  • Guiding, training, and mentoring new team members on procedures and safety
  • Assisting junior staff with more complex support tasks as needed
  • Training and supervising volunteers, including individuals with varying abilities
  • Escalating operational issues to supervisors when required
  • Maintaining a clean, safe, and organized work environment following OSHA and safety standards
     

What You’ll Bring:

The ideal candidate for this role will have:

Experience
  • Two years of experience in a warehouse or distribution center
  • Two years of forklift, pallet jack, picker, or other industrial equipment operation
  • Two years of experience using warehouse management and inventory systems
  • Two years of delivering quality customer service

Skills & Characteristics
  • Strong teamwork and collaboration skills
  • Patient, respectful, and clear communication
  • Attention to detail with accurate documentation and labeling
  • Organizational skills and the ability to maintain a clean workspace
  • Fluency in English (reading, writing, and verbal communication)
  • Ability to interpret and apply policies and procedures
  • Basic math and computer skills
  • Commitment to safety and adherence to protocols
     

Physical Abilities
  • Ability to lift 30–50 lbs frequently and up to 100 lbs occasionally
  • Ability to push/pull heavy loads (manual pallet jacks may handle 2,000+ lbs)
  • Ability to stand, walk, stoop, kneel, and perform physical labor throughout the shift
  • Capability to work in ambient and cooler environments
  • Visual acuity for operating vehicles and equipment
