Location: New Castle, ME
Pay: $25–$30/hour
Schedule: Full-time (1:00 PM – 9:00 PM Monday – Thursday; 7:00 AM – 3:40 PM Friday)

In this pivotal role, you will assist in managing daily warehouse operations, contribute to team success, and influence meaningful outcomes every day.

Key Responsibilities:

As a Warehouse Manager in Training, your primary duties will include:
  • Customer-Centric Focus: Ensure that all decisions prioritize customer satisfaction.
  • Team Leadership: Supervise and motivate a team of hourly employees in a positive and supportive environment.
  • Operational Planning: Review incoming merchandise bills of lading to organize work activities efficiently.
  • Task Assignment: Allocate specific duties to staff, including verifying incoming merchandise quantities and assembling orders for delivery.
  • Process Establishment: Develop operational procedures for handling and verifying shipments, as well as maintaining warehouse inventory.
  • Coordination: Collaborate with sales, record control, and purchasing departments to ensure optimal merchandise availability.
  • Product Management: Direct the reclamation process for any damaged goods and oversee the distribution of store fixtures.
  • Compliance Oversight: Ensure adherence to company policies, procedures, and safety regulations.
  • Employee Development: Carry out supervisory responsibilities such as interviewing, hiring, and training new employees; assigning work; assessing performance; and addressing conflicts.

  • Effective Communication: Exceptional communication skills to foster a collaborative environment.
  • Mathematical Competence: Comfort with basic mathematical operations, including addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division, using whole numbers, fractions, and decimals.
  • Problem-Solving Ability: Capability to solve practical problems and manage complex issues effectively.
  • Physical Stamina: Ability to stand, walk, and carry out the physical demands of the job, including lifting up to 50 pounds.
