Job Title: Accounting Specialist (#167773)

Accounting Specialist Pay Range: $25.00 hourly

Accounting Specialist Schedule: Full time, 1st shift

Accounting Specialist Start Date: ASAP


The Accounting Specialist position in Auburn, Maine is responsible for approving and processing all invoices received for payment and for undertaking the payment of all creditors in an accurate, efficient and timely manner. You will have a solid understanding of Microsoft Office and accounts payable processes. Successful candidates will have strong attention to detail and related experience. This is a full time, temp to hire position.


Accounting Specialist Qualifications: 

  • High School Diploma or GED required, higher accounting degree strongly preferred

  • Experience in accounts payable required

  • Strong computer, Microsoft Office, and QuickBooks knowledge/experience required

  • Recent Accounts Payable Management experience in an office setting, with contacts to large customers preferred

  • Ability to survive and thrive in an entrepreneurial environment and adapt to changing work demands

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills

  • Positive work attitude with strong interpersonal skills
