Job Title: Senior Accountant (#164957)
Senior Accountant Pay Range: $19.00 -$20.00 hourly, DOE
Senior Accountant Schedule: 8:00 am – 5:00 pm, M-F
Senior Accountant Start Date: ASAP
The Senior Accountant position in Skowhegan, Maine is responsible for assisting the Controller in the daily operation of the accounting department which could include account reconciliation, adjusting assets, and financial reporting. You will have a solid understanding of financial accounts and daily accounting processes. Successful candidates will be detail oriented with a positive attitude. This is a full time, long term temporary position.
Senior Accountant Qualifications:

High School Graduate or equivalent
-
Associate’s degree or equivalent work experience
-
2-5 years of experience and/or training in an accounting department
-
Strong and effective communication skills, both oral and written
-
Strong knowledge of generally accepted accounting principles and standards

Excellent relationship and customer service skills

Ability to handle multiple tasks and meet deadlines
-
Ability to gather and track information
-
Proficient computer skills
