Hours: Monday – Friday 9 am to 5:30 pm

Job Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Process all outbound shipments and mail; checks items to be shipped against orders to ascertain that quantities, destination and routing are correct
  • Prepares all necessary international paperwork as required by export/import laws (Proforma invoice, Certificate of Origin)
  • Prepares LTL and truckload shipments (including BOL generation) for pick up.
  • Investigates lost shipment claims; initiates proof of delivery documents
  • Effectively communicates exceptions/issues to supervisor and/or manager
  • Prepares end of day reports and distributes to all necessary parties. Maintains daily real-time shipping manifest
  • May operate dolly and/or pallet jack in loading/unloading supplies and equipment
  • May operate shrink-wrap machine
  • May operate personal vehicle to deliver shipments
  • May assist in routine maintenance of equipment and shipping area
  • May lock loading doors
  • Follows established departmental policies, produces, objectives, continuous quality improvement objectives and safety/ environmental/ infection control standards
  • Inventory counts and warehouse transfers:
  • Rolling cycle counts and perform annual physical counts
  • Complete warehouse transfers, adjustments and issues upon request
  • Perform other duties as assigned

Skills/Qualifications:

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: From $12.00 per hour
